Family Tides features 8 bedrooms and 7.5 baths. The bedding includes 2 kings, 4 queens, 4 bunk beds (8 twins) and a queen sleeper sofa. This lovely home will comfortably sleep 22 guests.
This family home offers the best of both worlds: fantastic ocean views and an incredible sunset every night. The reversed floor plan home features an elevator that will quickly transport you, your luggage, and your groceries from the ground level up to the top floor living area as well as the floors in between. With a bad weather covered entry you don’t have to worry about a rainy day when entering the house from the garage area. It really makes it nice when unloading all your supplies from the car.
The house includes all stainless-steel kitchen appliances, lots of deck space, covered porches, ocean facing hot tub, gas fire pit, lots of deck seating, game room, TV’s throughout, WiFi, easy beach access and panoramic water views from all directions. It just don’t get much better than this!
Walk across the street to spend time on the beach, then return home to unwind on one of the many porches or decks. In the evenings, sink into the large hot tub that overlooks the ocean and listen to the waves while you relax. Gather around the gas fire pit while listening to family stories and tall tales. Play a game of foosball while the chef in your group prepares vacation meals. When it’s time to eat, multiple dining tables will accommodate your complete party. There is even extra dining at the kitchen bar area as well as the oceanside deck. End you day with a movie night on the large flatscreen TV in the living area. Family Tides is certainly built to accommodate large families and here you will enjoy a house of luxury, coupled with mesmerizing views of the beautiful Topsail Island beaches to the front, and the burning evening sunsets to the rear.
As you enter the home from the ground level, you will find a room (game room) that is equipped with a foosball table, large flatscreen TV, sleeper sofa, end tables, closet, elevator entrance and stairway to upper floor.
As you ascend to the next level (Mid-Level) you can take either the elevator up or the stairwell. This level is mostly dedicated to bedrooms (6 to be exact), the laundry area and bathrooms. This level also provides direct access out to the oceanside deck where you will find a large hot tub directly facing the ocean as well as very comfortable seating for relaxing and enjoying the sound of the surf.
Bedroom 1 is a mid-level king master that is located on the ocean side of the home (north facing) and has private access out to the oceanside deck. This bedroom has a king bed, night stands and lamps, TV, storage chest, dressing bench, closet, ceiling fan, and a private full bath with a walk-in shower and double vanities.
Bedroom 2 is located directly across the hallway on the ocean side of the home (south facing) and has private access out to the oceanside deck. This bedroom has a queen bed, night stands and lamps, TV, ceiling fan, storage chest, closet, and a private full bath with walk-in shower.
Bedroom 3 is a southside facing bedroom that is equipped with a queen bed, night stands and lamp, storage chest, closet, ceiling fan and TV. Just outside the doorway is a shared bath with a tub and shower combination.
Bedroom 4 is located directly across the hallway on the north side of the home and is equipped with a queen bed, night stands and lamp, storage chest, closet, ceiling fan and TV. There is a private full bath with walk-in shower.
The laundry area is located on this level near all the bedrooms and is equipped with a full-size washer and dryer.
The elevator services this floor level as well.
Bedroom 5 is located across the hallway from bedroom 4 and is located on the south facing side of the home to the rear. This bedroom is equipped with 2 sets of bunk beds (4 twins), ceiling fan, storage chest, night stand with lamp, TV and closet. This is a great spot for the kids to hang out.
Bedroom 6 is located directly across the hallway on the north facing side of the house and is equipped with 2 sets of bunk beds (4 twins), a ceiling fan, storage chest, night stand with lamp, closet and TV. This bedroom is also equipped with a private full bath with tub and shower combination.
Sunsets - Between bedroom 5 and 6 on the rear of the house is a very nice covered porch that is equipped with rockers and accent table. The view is simply magnificent overlooking the ICW and bay areas of Topsail Island. The sunsets from this spot are fabulous in the evenings.
As you ascend to the next level (top level) the views will become even more magnificent. You may take the stairway or the elevator to the top living level (reversed floor plan) for some of the best views you will ever find on Topsail Island. The views are panoramic in almost all directions, front, side and back. You will love this home!
This level features a magnificent kitchen with all the bells and whistles, fabulous living area with lots of seating, two large dining areas (one on each side of the kitchen), a king master bedroom suite, a queen bedroom, a half bath off kitchen and large oceanside decks that will provide you with the wonderful views, relaxation and memories that will stay with you for a lifetime.
The living room is equipped with a large fabric sectional sofa, comfortable arm chairs, decorative floor lamps, extra-large coffee table, end table, ceiling fan, large flatscreen TV and attractive artwork. The living area provides direct access out to the oceanside deck where you will find comfortable seating for relaxing and listening to the sound of the surf.
The kitchen is simply fabulous. Everyone will want their turn at being the chef. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for basic meal preparations along with all required major and small countertop appliances. The major appliances include a double door refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, dishwasher, smooth top range oven combination, and microwave which are all stainless. The small countertop appliances include a coffee pot (Keurig and standard), toaster and blender.
The kitchen has custom shaker style cabinetry with granite countertops and lots of storage areas. There is also a spacious built-in pantry for storing your weekly food and supplies. The large kitchen bar area is equipped to seat 6 guests for overflow dining area. There is a convenient half bath just off the kitchen.
The dining areas are set up on each side of the kitchen and both adjacent to a wall of windows for maximum views while enjoying those special family meals together. Each of the two large dining tables seat 8 with 6 others at the bar counter area, and if anyone likes to dine outside there is a table for 4 on the oceanside deck. This house is a chef’s dream come true and it’s all about enjoying great meals together.
Bedroom 7 can be found to the rear of the home which is equipped with queen bed, ceiling fan, TV, closet, storage chest and a full private bath with tub and shower combination.
Between bedroom 7 and the sound side dining area you will find another great spot for viewing the burning evening sunsets. This is a nice covered porch with rockers and accent tables directly facing the Intracoastal Waterway and bay areas of Topsail Island.
Bedroom 8 is a king master suite and is located on the top level on the oceanside of the home. This bedroom is equipped with a king bed, dresser, night stands with lamps, ceiling fan, TV, closet and a private full bath with an extra-large walk-in tiled shower with double shower heads. This bathroom has a large double vanity and decorative accent lighting. This master suite provides private access out to the ocean side deck through slider doors. This views from this bedroom are magnificent and here you will feel like royalty. After all, it is the king master.
