We see most of our visitors during the summer months, meaning the off-season is a beautiful time to experience fewer crowds. After Labor Day, most schools and universities are back in session, so most families are limited on when they can travel. If you do not have scheduling conflicts, this September is an excellent time to visit. Come for a few days or a few weeks!

Beach Sweep: Participants gather on the beach each year to clean up litter and other debris. This is an excellent opportunity to volunteer and help the environment.

5Ks, Bridge Walks, and Biathalons: Because the weather starts to cool off in September and there are fewer vacationers, it is the perfect time for running and walking events.
