Driving to Topsail Island

Most people choose to drive to Topsail for their vacation. Getting here is relatively easy. Before heading to your vacation rental, you must visit our office for check-in. Our office is located in Sneads Ferry at:

965 Old Folkstone Rd, Suite 108, Sneads Ferry, NC

If you are arriving from the north, you will take I-95 to Benson, NC. Then, take 1-40 East to Exit 398 (Highway 53 East) toward Jacksonville, NC. Travel approximately 13 miles on Highway 53, then turn right on Highway 50 towards Holly Ridge. After approximately 18 miles, turn left on Highway 17 North and travel for approximately 4 miles. Take a right onto Highway 172. At the first traffic light, take a right on Highway 210. After approximately 1.7 miles, the Topsail Way Shopping Center will be on your right. Our offices are in Suite 108.

For those traveling from the south, take Highway 17 or Highway 74 East to Wilmington, then stay on Highway 17 North. After approximately 30 miles, you will reach Holly Ridge, NC. Go another 4 miles past the traffic light in Holly Ridge, then turn right onto Highway 172. At the first traffic light, turn right onto Highway 210. After approximately 1.7 miles, the Topsail Way Shopping Center is on your right. Our offices are in Suite 108.

Flying In

Topsail Island has no commercial airports, so if you prefer to fly into the area, you have two main choices. The Albert J. Ellis Airport near Jacksonville, NC (airport code OAJ) is only 24.8 miles north of Sneads Ferry. Another option is the Wilmington International Airport (airport code ILM) in Wilmington, NC. This airport is approximately 42 miles southwest of Sneads Ferry.

Once you land in coastal NC, you will need to rent a car or carpool with family members who are driving. Follow the instructions above for the best ways to get to Topsail Island and check in at our office in Sneads Ferry.

Getting to Your Vacation Rental

From our office, you will take Highway 210 West to North Topsail Beach. In just three miles, you will be on Topsail Island. Highway 210 will take you through North Topsail Beach to Surf City. If you are staying in Topsail Beach, you will take Highway 50 West once you get to Surf City. Parking at Your Vacation Rental

Guests must park in the driveway of their vacation rental or the approved parking spaces for their vacation rental unit. If guests are limited in the number of parking spaces, that detail is listed in the property description.
